Learn to Sail at Lake of the Ozarks

One of the most exhilarating sports, sailing combines physical exercise with an understanding of aero and hydrodynamics, teamwork, and the strategies of chess into hours and days of excitement or serenity.  If you occasionally dream of sailing around the world, chartering a catamaran in the Caribbean, or just windsurfing on Creve Coeur Lake, our American Sailing Association (ASA) certified sailing school at Lake of the Ozarks is just the answer for you.

OYC’s sailing school is conveniently located just off four-lane Highway 54 at the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks, one of the most desirable recreation areas in the Mid-west, with 40,000 acres of water and 1,150 miles of breath-taking shoreline, uniquely suited to learning the sport of sailing, from basic aerodynamics to coastal cruising navigation and chartering.
